I'm sure you may have noticed that I haven't given much homework yet this year. That will begin to change this week. I still won't give tons, but do expect to see some form of math and science homework coming home beginning on Wednesday.
Thank you so much for signing and returning all of the forms! I am still missing a few, so if you could check to make sure that you turned in the non-essentials like the art release and PTA forms, that would be great!
Mrs. Dornik has requested that the students bring in class photos of themself from last year. A 3x5 or 5x7 would be great. She has a great art project planned, and the photos will be returned.
This week we will be starting our year off with Integers and Absolute Value in Math. In science, we will be investigating "Who is a scientist?" and students will be asked to research more about the type of scientist who interests them the most. They will then make a presentation to share with the class to demonstrate what they have learned. In writing, they are finishing up interviewing a classmate and will soon write up the interview to showcase their friend's many interests.
