Once math SOLs are over, I am planning on introducing lessons on how to solve Rubik's cubes to the classes. I have a class set, but they can not bring them home. If they would like to practice at home, they may ask you to get them a cube, but this is not something that will be graded, it's just for fun! There will be a few more opportunities for students to earn grades, though, so if you are worried about their grade, there is still time for it to improve.
A lot of information regarding the final days of fifth grade is coming home. The parents are planning a very fun final few days for your student. If you would like to get involved, please make sure to sign up to volunteer on the fifth grade celebration day.
