I wanted to clarify a few dates and events taking place the last week of school.
Monday, June 14th: CROSSOVER CEREMONY
- This is similar to a graduation ceremony.
- This is OPTIONAL.
- Our class will have our Crossover Ceremony at 10am. Each 5th grade class has a separate time. Students will sign on with me virtually at 8 to have me answer any last minute questions or hear any announcements and then will have the option to come to school at 10 a.m. to participate in the ceremony. After the ceremony, you will be free to go and enjoy the day.
- I will be there to announce their names and each student will have the opportunity to cross a “bridge” symbolizing their transition from elementary to middle school. Students who are unable to come are welcome to tune in and watch the ceremony virtually. I will provide the link at a later time.
- Students will be seated on the bleachers on the field 6 feet apart. Masks are required. Each student is allowed to bring up to 4 guests who are welcome to bring their own chairs and sit on the field.
- It will likely be sunny, please wear sunscreen.
- The entire ceremony is expected to last approximately 30 minutes.
- You MUST RSVP for this event to let us know whether or not you plan to attend using the link on this invitation.
