What are we learning next week with Mrs. Gosney?
Math- This week will begin with a computation test with decimals on Monday. On Tuesday, we will begin a new unit on Measures of Center: Mean, Median, Mode, and Range. Students will be required to know the definitions as well as how to apply that to find the actual answers. Please encourage them to study the notes that we complete in class to ensure that they understand the information as it is new this year.
Science- This week we will continue to review the fourth grade SOL about animals and ecosystems. Topics will include: Populations, Communities, and Ecosystems, and Food Webs. This topic is a review of Fourth grade but was not taught due to the closure of schools so I am taking a little more time to review it. I anticipate being able to give a test by Friday.
