What are we learning next week with Mrs. Toth?
Reading/Writing- Students will submit final copies of their Be Kind to Bees writing prompt early this week. We will use our finished writing pieces as inspiration to film a commercial or create a magazine article that will help raise awareness. We are excited to integrate our reading and writing skills to create a meaningful piece of media! Students will work on their Independent Work Menu which will be posted to this week’s reading folder in Schoology.
Social Studies- We will continue our study of the states and explore the Northeast region this week. Study materials will be provided in this week’s learning packet and also during class on Monday. Students will have a quiz on the states and capitals of the Northeast region on Friday, March 19th.
What are we learning next week with Mrs. Gosney?
Math-This week we will be working on reading word problems and creating expressions and equations to match what is being asked by the problem. The students will also be creating models to show equations.
Science- This week we will finish learning all about Sound! The test for this unit will be on Tuesday. On Thursday, the students will start learning about light. We will have a test that covers light on Friday, March 26.
